Bello Muhammad Shehu is a Senior Agronomist with a PhD in Bioscience Engineering, an MSc in Soil Science, and a B. Agriculture. He has 13 years of experience in soil fertility, site-specific nutrient management (SSNM), land evaluation, agronomy, and understanding the complex interplay between soil, water, and climate. He leads the development, coordination, and scaling of agronomic solutions and soil health management systems across West Africa and the Sahel by engaging with regional partners, building technical capacity, integrating digital soil resources, and ensuring quality assurance of nutrient management interventions.
